We strongly urge anyone who would like to volunteer (now or in the future) to make sure you are up to date with all required training and paperwork. If you completed your initial Protecting God's Children training after January 2020, you are exempt from re-certification. If your training was prior to that date, you require recertification. All recertification training must be completed by October 31. For new volunteers, initial training must be completed prior to serving as a volunteer.
Please log into your account on VIRTUSOnline.org as soon as possible to both update your profile and complete the updated training. When reviewing your profile, please ensure that Our Lady Star of the Sea School is identified as your primary location even if you also volunteer at a different church. If you encounter any problems accessing your account, need assistance identifying the appropriate training, need your password reset, etc., please contact Steven Carozza at the Parish Office for help answering questions.
Please note that there is no longer a grace period for new volunteers to complete a Protecting God's Children session and background check. These must be done to be eligible to volunteer. To complete the workshop visit www.virtusonline.org
