The newly formed Star Parent Association (SPA) is born of the former PTG and PAFC.  Brand new for the 2008/2009 school year, the purpose of the SPA is to provide and organize volunteers to support Our Lady Star of the Sea School in its mission to educate the entire student.  Volunteers are one of the most special gifts that God provides – our mission is to coordinate them all. 

The SPA will encompass all school fundraising (Harvest Night, Santa Shoppe, etc.) and special events like Catholic Schools Week and Field Day. In addition, volunteers are needed to provide hospitality support to the school, educational enrichment programs for our students and parents, classroom parent representatives and much, much more.   The Organization will hold meetings every other month to report on projects and review upcoming events.   

At Our Lady Star of the Sea School there are so many opportunities available for you to provide your time and talents – we hope that you take advantage of at least one of them!  Remember, many hands make light work. Any offer to help, whether large or small is so appreciated. Click on the Volunteer Form link in the right hand navigational bar for a comprehensive list of areas that need volunteer support.  We hope that you will take time to review all the areas that can use your help, select one (or two!) to volunteer for.  Complete this form and drop it off in the school office.  Planning for many events taking place this year has already begun and we would love to have your input for these and future events.
